Cook County Department of Public Health Grant program
On behalf of Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH), I am excited to let you know that the Building Healthy Communities in Suburban Cook County Request for Proposals (RFP) was officially released this morning and announced publicly at a press conference featuring President Preckwinkle, Commissioner Dr. Dennis Deer, Cook County Health CEO Mr. Israel Rocha, and CCDPH Co-Lead and Senior Medical Officer Dr. Rachel Rubin.
This grant program totaling $12 million in investments, is integral to supporting on-going COVID-19 response, resiliency, and recovery, and aims to continue to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19, lessen the health, social and economic impacts, and reduce COVID-19 health disparities, especially for communities and populations hardest hit by the pandemic in suburban Cook County.
